This extraordinarily painful condition afflicts many. This is pain on the bottom of your feet. Sometimes sharp under your heel but can affect the whole bottom of the foot.
The mechanism is weakening of the calf musculature, increased weight, flat feet, low back problems like swayback and combinations of all these.
Fix the cause for sure, but immediate help is artificially supporting the arch. It's best to do so with custom orthotics. Short of that, here's a hack that sort of works to reduce the pain levels:
Take a small "booty" type sock, roll it up and put it under the arch of y
our foot or feet in your shoe. This is squishy enough that it won't be significantly uncomfortable like new orthotics. And, you can do this is sandals or Crocs with another sock by putting the rolled sock in the sock over your foot.
Here's a short video explaining it. https://youtube.com/shorts/mrswRnRkqm4
