My daugher was 2 years old when I brought her to Dr. Barrett.  She had chronic ear infections and bleeding from the ears.  She had her first ear infection at 2 months and they continued until I brought her to Dr. Barrett. 

We tried lots of drugs; they kept getting stronger with higher dosages.  We also tried different eardrops.  She slept a lot her first two years and had a raw butt quite a few times (more medicatiosn to clear up the rash) from medications the medical doctors were giving her (amoxicillin, ceclor, augmentin, tylenol and motrin).  My husband and I were frustrated with not gettting clear answers and not seeing any progress.  Also financially, we have hospital, doctor and pharmacy bills that are still not paid.  My husband had to miss and take time off work because we only had one vehicle to bring our daughter to the doctor. We were in at least three times a month, sometimes more.  She would be really crabby and not want to play with her sister or anyone. She wouldn't even want to be held.

I had been to Dr. Barret for my back, not realizing how a chiropractor can help us in many other aspects of our health.  I was ignorant about what they are capable of doing.

Since my daughter has been seeing Dr. Barrett (May 1995), she has NOT had an ear infection.  She has NOT been on any medications and she is much more active and alert.  My husband and I are NOT as stressed out and worried about our daughter's condition.  We are INFORMED and feel very grateful to Dr. Barrett and the staff.

I have trust and faith in Dr. Barrett.  EVERY time we go to see him we learn something new.  Whether it is about the physical aspects of chiropractic or some statstic or new studies or new experiences with his children.  He explains things so we can understand them a dmakes us feel like real people wiht real feelings and not just another number.

My son started having ear infections when we was 11 months old. he would cry all night long and wouldn't eat.  The medical doctor put him on antibiotics which didn't work.  We then started chiropracti care and within 1 to 2 days, I noticed improvement.

Since starting chiropractic care my sone has not been on any over the counter or prescription medication since his first ear infection.
